RIC is committed to the achievement of high standards of Health Safety and Welfare at work for all its employees and others who may be affected by its operations, e.g. client staff, sub-contractors, visitors and members of the public.

RIC aims to continually improve Health & Safety standards through the implementation of this management system. Only through full and wholehearted joint action, commitment and co-operation by management and workforce can the objectives of this policy be achieved successfully.

The policy principles & Objectives, including the duties, responsibilities & arrangements are brought to the attention of all employees.

HSE Policy Principles & Objectives:

To ensure the health, safety and welfare of all persons at work and those who may be affected by our operations.
To constantly struggle to achieve zero accidents including dangerous occurrences and near misses.
To take full and proper account of the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work site.
To ensure adequate arrangements exist to enable the effective management of health and safety, including audit inspection and review.
To provide a safe place of work without risk to the health, safety or welfare of the workforce including safe access and egress to and from their place of work.
To provide safe equipment and systems of work.
To provide a safe working environment and adequate welfare facilities.
To provide facilities for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
To provide enough information, instruction, training and supervision to enable the workforce to contribute positively to the implementation of this policy and their own safety and welfare.
To ensure that this policy and the arrangements for implementation are brought to the attention of all employees.
The Policy arrangements, procedures and safe systems of work are regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
